If you thrived Zelda as a kid then get ready for some fat DejaVu. I've got 3 sweet remixes of the classic Zelda theme song. Even though I'm more of a dubstep kinda guy i have to say i like the Zedd remix the best. The drop is just too sick. the other two remixes are both some dub and are both pretty dirty as well. Enjoy.
Zedd-The Legend Of Zelda(Original Mix) Nostalgia-The Hero
I can't promise that this song is within a few weeks old. Or months. It's nothing new but i can promise that very little have heard this. I have some work from the Freestyler's and it is decent stuff but this one stands out. I'm not sure how Flux ended up with this remix. The original is totally different, very annoying and i would say its really not that good. But Flux does it up real nice. It's different from many of the other electronic (or borderline dubstep) songs that i have in my library, which is ultimately why i like it so much. Give her a look.
Freestylers-Cracks (feat. Belle Humble) [Flux Pavilion Remix]
So its safe to say that essential mixes should be a household item by now in everyone's library's. When i heard Sonny Moore (Skrillex) had his own, i was THRIVING. Well first, it's on BBC Radio One. Listen up, if you're going to listen to essentials, it MUST be on BBC Radio One. Pete Tong always plays the best essential mixes and always has the best interviews. Secondly, most of this mix consists of actual Skrillex remixes which is nice because we usually don't see that much by an artist on his or her own mix. Thank me, i'm embedding a SoundCloud player instead of the usual pop out. Now you can actually listen to it instead of waiting for it to buffer. Just taking care of our fans.
Good line-up of Hip-Hop. Asher throws a new track featuring Quan which shows a new side of Asher Roth. He seems more chill now, rhyming about important real life shit. Not much to say though about it so give it a listen and see what you think.
Asher Roth-Summertime (feat. Quan)
Alright now G-Eazy is a new name to me but KAM Royal isn't. So when i saw this song i was automatically attracted to KAM which lead me to checking out this track. I love it. I have no clue who G-Eazy is, where he's from or even who he raps with. I certainly like this song for the beat and for the samples in the background. I 100% recommend this song to everyone, even if they aren't too sure about it. Listen to it, it will click.
G-Eazy-Well Known (feat. Kam Royal)
Last but not least. A weird, strange and new type of music to me. Sublime drops a track with Wiz Khalifa. I know, weird as hell. Never would have expected it. I'm not too sure about this song. I mean, its a reggae song no doubt but i just don't know if i'm sold on this duo. I guess the songs not bad, but this was put up more for you guys to check out. I want to know what everyone thinks so leave a comment or shoot us a message!
I'm going to try and keep this post short, but after all...it is Adventure Club. I have heard my fair share of remixes. Good and Bad. I have also heard TONS of artists and you can tell the ones who know what they're doing and the ones who don't. Adventure Club knows what the fuck is good. Here they are dropping another remix of a no-name song. I haven't heard the original but i know it probably sounded nothing like this. Needless to say AC has changed the way people look at dub-remixes. Take a good look at this one. I promise you that if you take a look at what AC has to offer, you will love them just as much as i do. Take a look at our previous post and check out what they're all about.
Flight Facilities-Crave You (Adventure Club Remix)
A little over a year ago, the world famous DJ Tieso released his newest mainstream album which was entitled "Kaleidoscope" which was a hell of an album. On it was a song called "I Will Be Here" featruing Sneaky Sound System. Later, Wolfgang Gartner put his own spin on the song releasing it as a radio edit. Now, 2011, Syntheticsax and Simon Toogood found a way to make Wolfgang's edit even more awesome.Check this one out. If you would like to compare it to the original click here. Enjoy this one. And for the record if anyone noticed, Tiesto is reppin' an Ontario tee. He plays lots of shows in the area. He's making his way to BetaClub in Waterloo this Wednesday. My brother is going so lets see if we can get him to do a short review. Keep checking in to TBH!
Tiesto-I Will Be Here (Syntheticsax & Simon Toogood, Wolfgang Edit)
Rock n Roll isn't one or Skrillex's newer songs but its definitely one of his more popular ones. Upon release of his new EP, he launched a music video for Rock n Roll which feautures clips from his every day adventure. I think its sick how he lives. It's sweet to see all the people he was with. Deadmau5 was what grabbed my attention. "The Boys" are going to appreciate this one.
Secondly, Skrillex dropped a new remix!! This time of Snoop Dogg's "Sensual Seduction" off his most recent album "More Malice." I've been thriving this song especially around 3:00, Snoop throws a sick verse. Check it out.
Since I'm not going to be able to do next weeks Mashup Monday I figure might as well throw one out now. Released today, one of my favorite mashup artists 5 & A Dime released a mashup of my 2 favorite electronic artists Skrillex and Deadmau5. The song has a fairly nice flow and of course bangs hard. Don't think I'll ever get tires of Ghosts n' Stuff. Enjoy.
So summers just around the corner so I've got a beauty basket of bangers for you to headbang to after that last exam. I've been thriving the Feed Me lately and his most recent original mix Pink Lady is nothing short of some of his other famous heavy mixes. I would say the insanely dirty drop SoniXx's Remix to Ruffneck just about sums up the steeze of the entire song. Oh and don't skip the J.Rabbit it's sick too. Enjoy.
In celebration of reaching 500,000 followers on Twitter, Mac Miller drops his newest single "Family First" with Talib Kweli. Just like many of Mac's new songs, this one was produced by Pac Div, so many there has been some changes up in management? Anyways, laid back song, so chillin to listen to. Enjoy.
A few weeks ago TBH gave oyu the preview of Skrillex's remix of promises. It's finally here! If you haven't heard the original you can check it out in our previous post Here. I think this remix is unreal. The original was amazing to begin with and the moment i heard Skrillex was going to do a cover, i buckled down and waited. Nero & Skrillex sound sick together and i hope you like this one as much as i do. Probably one of my favoutite Skrillex remixes of all time.
This Mashup Monday definitely has a Banger type of feel. We start with a banger Skrillex Lil Wayne Mashup done by Dj Trademark who has worked with a previous Dj I have mentioned Dj DiBella. The Styles and Complete Mash Bangs even harder with some heavy dubstep. Enjoy.
Dj Trademark-Midnight (Skrillex vs. Jay Sean vs. Lil Wayne) 6Gun-Heads Up Like A Boss (Slim Thug vs. Bassnectar)
Styles and Complete-Werewolves Throw It Up (Figure vs. Lil Jon vs. Pastor Troy)
Vodka and Milk-Thug-h30 (Danger Vs. Bone Thugs-N-Harmony feat. Tupac)
We would like to point out that today we hosted our 3000th page view in less than a month. Those are some pretty sick numbers for a project i didn't think would get big anyways. But now it's getting bigger. Within the next few weeks we will be working with a number of people to start putting out some TBH gear such as t-shirts, hats, tank tops etc. We are also working on stickers and other promotional material so once those are in we will let you know and we can start mailing stickers and stuff to whoever wants to rep a street-team. But for now all we ask you to do is to get people on our Facebook Page and The Banger Hanger website. This couldn't have been done without you. We will release the music if we know there will be people to listen and as far as were concerned now; there's plently of room to grow and we could really use your help!
Thank you for everything,
Colin Clarke & Jack Bonnici
Good set of electronic sound. Not a whole lot to say about this one. You'll find a remix of Skrillex's "Ruffneck" which is pretty sweet. Not sure why it wasn't on MMNS though! The rest is some pretty hardcore music. Another big one from KDrew who i am really starting to like! Take a look at "Freeze." A new artist to me but i am really liking their stuff. I like the melody and how the song has some background-life almost. Really impressed and ready for more!
Skrillex-Ruffneck (The SoniXx Remix)
Brian Champion...i love you bro and this ones for you. I came across this one today and i didn't care whether or not i liked it. It was going to make it on TBH for my boy. Turns out that this remix is insane and far from bad. Huge banger with sick electro but still sticks with the original vocals and concept. Be sure to play this song LOUD on high-ass-bass. This song should be added to every jam playlist in Oakville.
Unleash The F**king Dada was released a little while ago so this post isn't the newest of the new but it's still dope. I'm new to Dada Life but I've been thriving this song recently and I've been thriving the remix even harder! This is a huge banger so check it out, hopefully we will have more Dada Life!
Dada Life-Unleash The F**king Dada
Dada Life-Unleash The F**king Dada (Dirtyloud Remix)
Not only MASSIVE in the United States and Canada, but all over the world as well. Check out Wiz's newest episode of DayToday. Probably one of my favourites, obviously because of the theme. Take a look at "Euro Tour" where you can take an inside look what Wiz is doing overseas.
Trap music eh? This ones for Daniel Ohorodnyk who got TBH a few more likes on our Facebook Page. He asked me to do a special on Jeezy so I did. Now, i used to listen to him about 3 years ago as i was getting into the rap music world. I liked his stuff because at the time i thought rap should be about gangs and crime but i was wrong. However Jeezy has payed his dues in the industry and i still give him the respect that he has now. I wanted to base this "TBH On" around his older stuff. For two reasons. One, I have a whole collection of his old stuff on my library. And two, from what i have heard of his recent stuff...it's nothing special. Jeezy is a rapper where his older stuff if his better stuff. Much like Weezy and even T.I. Anyways, this playlist shows his depth and his history. This is personally my favourite tracks by him. I know they have been heard by everyone by now but they are still amazing tracks. If i had to narrow it down to one or two i would go with Bury Me A G and And Then What. I love the collaboration between Mannie Fresh and Jeezy. Sick Music!
Young Jeezy-Bury Me A G
Young Jeezy-And Then What (feat. Mannie Fresh)
Young Jeezy-Go Crazy (feat. Jay-Z) [Remix]
Young Jeezy-Streets On Lock
Young Jeezy-I Luv It
Nelly-5000 Ones (feat. T.I., Diddy, Yung Joc, Willie The Kid, Young Jeezy & Twista)-Jeezy at 3:00
Hope that helped you out Danny. I have plenty more Jeezy on my library so if you need more you come to TBH! Thanks for the likes. Keep em coming!
There's a first for everything. I picked this song up today and honestly, i'm not too sure if i like it. I Love Skrillex, and Diplo has sick sound but i'm not sure if i would have mixed the two. I put this track up to show you guys and to see how you felt about it. I guess you have to be into mad hard core or DNB for this one. Maybe it will grow on me but for now i'm not sold.
Here we have a good collection of Hip-Hop by some pretty big names. Starting with Boss by Wiz. This is such a sick song. It's a newer style of rap for Wiz, almost reminds me of Tony Yayo (lol). Sick song to blare though. Hard, deep bass and sick synth. Huge hit by Wiz, let's see what hes got next.
Wiz Khalifa-Boss
Curren$y was brought to me by Wiz Khalifa. I don't have a whole lot to say about him because i haven't gone too in-depth with him yet but this is a dope track. I haven't really had anything to complain about on any of Curren$y's music so i would say hes making his way up there.
Curren$y-This Is The Life
Ok, this song is incredible. Anything that Chiddy has been on recently has been sick! His album Peanut Butter And Swelly was insane and now he is following with some singles. Obviously having Big Sean, Wiz and Chiddy on a track is clutch. If you want a real treat, check out Wiz's verse. Classic.
Last year, my main man Daniel Cubric showed me Pheonix. An alternative rock band out of Versailles, France. Danny had me thriving. From there i downloaded Wolfgang Amadeus which was one of their mainstream albums and from then on i couldn't stop playing it. Over about the past 2 months i have found remixes for a few of their songs. Safe to say that they aren't anything like the originals which is ok but they are still good to listen to. So this post is for Danny. Love you bud.
This song it jokes. I hated it to begin with, i thought it was so annoying and pointless but after i had it on in the background for a bit...i was thriving! I can picture this song at a lot of summer jams. The fact that its catchy is helpful. Give it a listen and lets see what you think. And tell me this video doesn't remind you of Bromance!!!
So Stephan Jacobs is definitely one of my favorite new up and comer Dubstep producers. Him and Nit Grit, an even heavier producer, came together to make this pizza party EP and i have to say I'm impressed. Their Metric remix came out a couple months ago and they added on two new songs which i think are just as good. they both have pretty unique sounds and they sound even sicker together. Enjoy.
Nothing new to post at the moment but i was jamming out to Asher and i came across this EP. I love this EP more than most of my EP's or albums that i have in my library. Its so different for a hip-hop album. Consisting of 7 tracks, it ranges from deep bass to cheerful breaks. I show this one to anybody who asks me about Asher. This defines him and his sound. Also introduced me to Nottz Raw which i love. Key songs to listen to would be, Dontcha Wanna Be? which is my favourite for sure. Along with that, Enforce The Law and Break Bread. Needless to say the entire album is worth giving a listen. Check it out! In total the songs add up to 27 minutes so its not that bad. I can't add download links for this one but contact Colin @ TBH for links.
Domo Genesis, a member of the infamous OddFuture featuring Tyler, The Creator. Great music. I hated it at the beginning. Stupid beats, dumb sounds. And then i payed more attention to the lyrics...i learned a lot. Damn now i'm hooked on those guys so get ready for more OFWG from TBH.
Chillin song. Got a great beat and sick rhymes. The first song i like by Domo. Honestly...
This playlist is a mix up of some new songs that i have hangin' around my library. All within a week or two old so they are still fresh. You'll find some pretty crazy electro tracks on this list along with an Avicii song dub-stepped. The Chris Brown song really surprised me. I was never a hage fan of that song or the remixes but this new one by Dallask and Halatrax was sick! Obviously a new Zeds Dead track which hits pretty hard as usual. Last but not least, my favourite; Darth & Vader. He remixes Get Out by Lazy Rich and like always makes it crazy! Just a heads up, the song is only 3 minutes long because it is UNRELEASED! Can't wait for the final drop! Hope you like em.
Chris Brown & Benny Benassi-Beautiful People (Dallask & Halatrax Remix)
Lazy Rich-Get Out (feat. Lizze Curious) [Darth & Vader Remix]
Their baaaacck. Yes finally a new tune from one of my absolute fave electro artists. made popular by their banger Warp 1.9 the duo has become more and more of a household name on the electronic music scene. I didn't expect this sound from them but its still pretty sick. Definitely need headphones for this one. Enjoy.
